PRIMARY PAPER is a photography magazine and exhibition series, founded and curated by Coquito Cassibba and Jessica McGowan. Each issue contributors offer their unique perspective on a single topic that is culturally significant and artistically relevant. Since launching in 2018, our issues have explored the themes of Colour, Age, Environment, Human and Faith. In 2024, Primary presented its first exhibition in London, marking the beginning of an ongoing series that translates the concept of the magazine into physical space. Aiming to bring together a range of voices, each exhibition highlights personal reflections on identity and place.
